Apparently the Blair Witch was to blame as following the release of the "found footage" film the number of people camping in the woods across the country skyrocketed.
The increased number of nature loving movie buffs resulted in the local wildlife to going into hiding, thus preventing hunters from bagging that much sought after prize deer.
And some people say horror films are a bad thing.
